2016 Invitation Trends
Getting married this year? Whether your looking at custom invitations or customizable invitations, these are some of the styles that are trending for 2016.
1. Metallic
Whether it is metallic papers, gold or silver ink/foil or some sort of metallic embellishment - it's in! Love the look of stamped foil, but can't afford the price? Consider gold or silver inks with letterpress. Not as 'high shine' but still enough to impress your guests!
2. Monograms
Who doesn't love a monogram. Whether it's whimsical or classic, every type of monogram looks great on an invitation. However, don't forget that you should only be using your first initials for the monogram until after the big day!
3. Nature
We are continuing to see a great deal of outdoor weddings, slightly less formal, and couples are loving a touch of nature in their wedding stationery. Whether it's the overall design of your stationery, or adding natural elements - it's sure to be a hit.
4. Blush
Yes, It's one of Pantone's color's of the year - but we've seen it trending since last fall. Pink and blush are hot right now.
5. Watercolor
We're seeing watercolor in tiny pastel accents and in large bold swashes of color. Combine watercolor with letterpress, and you've got a winner!
