Leta and Joseph

Leta and Richard were married at The Murphy in Chicago. Leta wanted a formal wedding invitation and was looking for a unique boxed style invitation. We discussed some options, and she entrusted us with bringing her vision to life.
The wedding invitations were a modified book cover style invitation with their monogram blind printed in the cover with their names letterpress printed in gold ink across the top of the monogram. Their wedding date was exposed at the bottom of the invitation when the invitation is closed. A custom pocket was created and printed with their monogram which held the enclosure cards and custom designed map of Chicago. The invitation was letterpress printed on 220# double thick cotton card stock and layered with brushed gold card stock. We then printed a large version of the monogram on onion skin paper and wrapped the completed invitation in that onion skin paper before laying it in its shipping box. The shipping boxes were sealed with a custom printed guest address label created from metallic white shimmer paper.
In addition to their wedding invitation, we were also lucky enough to have created Leta and Joseph's custom menus and programs. The Menus featured a gold foil stamped icon to indicate the guests meal choice. The programs mimicked the design of the wedding invitation. The covers were letterpress printed onto duplexed white/black cover material which has the feel of a rose petal. Each booklet was hand-stitched with metallic gold thread.
